Finally have time for my beloved blog after having finished my study. I’d really like to make this blog complete by moving the old entries on maomee.172baby.com here.

Feeling funny sometimes looking back at how I used to be. Such as this result of the test titled ‘What City Do You Belong In?’ which was first published on 26 September, 2005.

You’re a big city girl with a small town heart
Which is why you’re attracted to the romance of Rome
Strolling down picture perfect streets, cappuccino in hand

In fact, I’m never a coffee person, and I’ve never been to Italy.

The original website has gone so I went to Blogthings for a test with the same title.

You Belong in London

A little old fashioned, and a little modern.
A little traditional, and a little bit punk rock. A unique soul like you needs a city that offers everything. No wonder you and London will get along so well.

Seven years later, I’ve pranced to London from Rome! How cool is that coincidence!

I took another test which is focused on European cities.

You Belong in Dublin

Friendly and down to earth, you want to enjoy Europe without snobbery or pretensions.
You’re the perfect person to go wild on a pub crawl… or enjoy a quiet bike ride through the old part of town.

This reminds me of the lunch at Mary’s one Wednesday. Mary was telling me how difficult it was for her when she first moved to England from Ireland. English weren’t as friendly as Irish, she told me. I was surprised to hear that as all the way I thought English’s been very kind to Beam and me. But then again, it could be that I was comparing the experience with what I went through in Singapore and Taiwan.

This result’s determined my desire for an Irish experience in the near future!
